Our Story: From Desert Dream to Export Reality
VENI FARMS was born from a vision to prove that sustainable, organic agriculture can thrive in the harshest environments. In 2018, we transformed 100 acres of desert land in Egypt's Kharga Oasis into a flourishing certified organic farm.
The Kharga Oasis, located in Egypt's New Valley Governorate, presented unique challenges: extreme temperatures, limited water, and sandy soil. Rather than seeing obstacles, we saw opportunity. The desert's low humidity creates ideal conditions for organic farming with minimal pest pressure. Ancient underground aquifers provide mineral-rich water. Temperature variations between day and night enhance flavor development in our crops.
Today, VENI FARMS exports premium organic dates, olives, pomegranates, and herbs to 15+ countries across Europe and the Gulf region. We've proven that with the right approach, desert agriculture can be both environmentally sustainable and economically viable.
